Roulette’s history have had many interesting legends, more about its origin. Roulette is a French word, hence it has a French origin. The definition of roulette is “small wheel”.

The first legend was Blaise Pascal, in the attempt to find the perpetual motion, developed a big wheel. Blaise Pascal was a scientist then, and dubbed as the father of roulette. The big wheel was made for his experiments, before one of his peers had a good idea. The idea was to toss a small object and see where it landed in the big wheel which was divided into segments.
